One of the major logo design projects that I worked on early on in my career was for Balzer & Associates Inc., a large architecture firm located in Virginia. For their company's 25th anniversary, they wanted a fresh new look that spoke to their older audience, but also attracted a new group of customers.
Challenge: Convincing to the older executives that it is indeed a good idea to update the logo by backing up my claims with research.
